New Patch Available - TrialDirector 6.4.972
We have been consistently updating and patching TrialDirector 6 with new and exciting features and bug fixes. The latest patch – 6.4.972 adds some additional functionality that has been on the list for some time. Here are a few of some of the new features that were added to this patch...
TDMobile Workbook Type
In anticipation of the release of our new iPad app – TDMobile, there is a new TDMobile workbook type. When you create a workbook, select the TDMobile type. When you export the TDMobile workbook, it packages up everything in your workbook into one file. Next, you can use either iTunes or Dropbox to transfer that file to TDMobile on your iPad. One nice feature of the TDMobile workbook is that it keeps track of the sort order of the objects in your workbook and when you import the file into TDMobile, the sort order is maintained.
Make a Single Video File from a Multiplayer Workbook
This is a feature that has been requested for some time. Finally, we were able to get it into the development cycle and check this feature off the list. To make a single video file from a multiplayer workbook, use the right mouse click menu option on the workbook. You will see the new consolidated “Send Workbook Contents To” option and choose “MultiPlay Video File”. Great feature to use when you need to combine video clips from multiple deponents, a single deponent, media clips or any combination into one single MPEG file. Very cool feature – check it out!
New Clip Export Output Video Type Option
Again, in preparation for the new TDMobile app, you can now export your video with a new TDMobile (MPEG-4 iPad compatible) format. Additionally, we have included a new QuickTime export option that has 4 different MPEG-1 output options and two different MPEG-2 output options.
